The village

Lisse-en-Champagne is located about 11 km to the north of Vitry-le-François, which is the central town of the area.

The Lisse-en-Champagne commune has a surface of 829 hectares and has 124 inhabitants (as of 2014).

Vingårdarna i Lisse-en-Champagne ligger norr och väster om byn, och utgörs av milda sydostsluttningar. Vingårdarna i väster hänger ihop med dem i Saint-Amand-sur-Fion. Chardonnay dominerar stort i vingårdarna.

The current vineyard surface in the Saint-Amand-sur-Fion commune is 31.4 hectares (77.6 acres). There are 31.2 ha Chardonnay (99.4%) and 0.2 ha Pinot Noir (0.6%). Numbers from CIVC, as of 2013. In 1997, the vineyard surface was 13 hectares. There are 47 vineyard owners (exploitants) in the commune.
