The village

Vavray-le-Petit is located in the northeastern part of the Vitryat area.

The Vavray-le-Petit commune has a surface of 539 hectares and has 66 inhabitants (as of 2014), referred to as Vavryons and Vavryonnes, the same as for Vavray-le-Grand.

Vineyards

The vineyards in Vavray-le-Petit are locate in the northern part of the commune, and are consist mostly of mild south-facing slopes. The vineyards are continuous with those in Val-de-Vière. Chardonnay dominates greatly in the vineyards.

The current vineyard surface in the Vavray-le-Petit commune is 18.0 hectares (44.5 acres). There are 17.9 ha Chardonnay (99.4%) and 0.1 ha others (0.6%). Numbers from CIVC, as of 2013. In 1997, the vineyard surface was 7 hectares. There are 35 vineyard owners (exploitants) in the commune.

Champagne producers

I haven’t found any Champagne producers which has their seat in Vavray-le-Petit.
